A Winter Storm

  I had planned to go to all the Christmas activities downtown today...the town's Winter Stroll.  My daughter-in-law was going to clog on the front porch of the Irma.  There was to be a light parade, singers and dancers and big fun to be had by all.  BUT by 10:30 this morning, all was cancelled.  A big winter storm rolled in...with snow and blowing snow causing blizzard conditions.  The temperatures fell quickly, and it is below zero right now.  The perfect night for a good book and keeping warm under the quilts.  The above is a picture of the top of the bedroom fireplace, with lots of little lights to cheer away the winter gloom.  Keep warm!  DLB
