TA-DAHHHHHHH!
After much dreaming and talking about starting a blog (my part), and prodding, pushing and threatening (my sister's part...she said that I am avoiding!) I am pleased to announce my new blog titled 'At Home in Wyoming'.
This blog is about everyday life in a state that my cousin from New York calls a time warp...which is why I love it! Because our population is so small, or maybe because of the Western culture, the pace of life in Wyoming is not as fast and frenzied as that of other places, maybe because we have room to move and spread out (my husband observed that people are kind of like chickens, they will fight and scrap unless you give them enough dirt to scratch around in).
I want to share with you some of things that are of interest to me in this season of my life... God, and the way that He works in our lives, life in sort of a small town (I live in Cody, Wyoming and the population is almost 9,000 according to the sign outside the city limits), old houses, seasonal decorating, gardening, cooking, wildlife, books, art, building my home and family, and the simple everyday pleasures that life in this great state offers. I will post an entry Monday through Friday, and plan to have a new photograph each day of whatever is the highlight of the day.
If your interests are similiar to some of mine, I invite you to come along for the ride. I can't wait to get started...DLB
